Habitat of Cabarrus provides qualifying people the opportunity to help build, and own their own home. Habitat volunteers donate their time and hard work to help construct a Habitat home, including framing, roofing, painting, siding, running electrical cable, and landscaping the home so that it is ready for a deserving family to move in. In the past, we have contributed money to help buy all the house materials for a complete house, actually built the house, and our youth group earned the money to plant all the lawn and landscape plants. Several of our parishioners actively support several houses being built every year. As a church, we continue to contribute financially to ongoing Habitat projects, and individual members of the congregation also serve on the Board of Directors
