Center of Hope Night Shelter service project during pandemic

All Saints’ turn to help out the Center of Hope Night Shelter is scheduled for November 29 – December 5.

With current COVID-19 concerns, All Saints’ will provide meals under a new, safer strategy that we believe will be appreciated by the night shelter guests and will also support local businesses/restaurants.

With the infectious numbers rising in the area we have decided not to ask the parishioners to prepare meals and serve.  Instead, we thought to support our local restaurants by purchasing food from them directly.

Volunteers will deliver the food to the night shelter by 6:15 PM each evening.  The night shelter staff will serve the meals to the guests.

We’re also asking parishioners to get involved and support the ministry by donating any funds they can to offset the cost of the food.  We don’t want the restaurants to lose money on this when they themselves are dealing with challenges of their own.

There are two ways to contribute. You may use your credit card by completing the form below.

Or, you may mail your check to the church, made out to All Saints’ Episcopal Church, with “Night Shelter Meals” in the memo line.
